She was predeceased by: her father Robert Middleton; her daughter Charlotte Swanson Carroll; her mother Thelma Brown Middleton; her husband Charles A. Swanson; and her sons-in-law, Bob Carroll and Robert Hodges, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Swanson Huff (Ken) and Charlene Swanson Hodges; and her grandchildren, Clifton R. Brumfield III and Amanda Walker Young (Shane). She is also survived by seven beautiful great-grandchildren.
