He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Remling and Milton Remling; his brother Roy Arthur Gemmell; and his brother-in-law Branko Petricevic. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lord Gemmell; his children, Matthew Kennedy Gemmell (Lucia) of Glen Allen, Virginia and Kate Gemmell Godfrey (Mark) of Kailua, Hawaii; his grandsons, Peyton Gemmell, Jackson Gemmell, Parker Gemmell, Grayson Gemmell and Luke Godfrey; his siblings, Lynda Petricevic, Betsy Eklund (Eric) of Antigua and David Gemmell (Carletta) of Anchorage, Alaska; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Gemmell of Orlando, Florida and Lewis Lord (Dee) of Falls Church. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (305 S Commerce St, Natchez, MS 39120). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be sent to Trinity Episcopal Church, Natchez Stewpot, or the charity of your choice.
