Though Leonia Alberta Brooks may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayner McClain Brooks and Jimmy Brooks; and her siblings, Jimmy Brooks, Jr., Sammy Brooks and Sarah Brooks Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cassandra D. Dennis and Aquetta Dennis Butler (Calvin); and her siblings, John A. Brooks, Charles E. Brooks, Jerry Owens and Betty J. Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the West Gate Funeral Home (409 M. L. K. Jr Rd, Natchez, MS 39120). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church (35 Triumph Ln, Natchez, MS 39120). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery (1617 M. L. K. Jr Rd, Natchez, MS 39120).
