He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cooley and Florice Cooley of Vidalia, LA.; his siblings, Bernard, Henry Cooley, Catherine Beach and Pat Johansson; his daughter Teresa Anne Floyd; his sons-in-law, Teddy Floyd and Donald Ballard; and his grandson Donald Lee Ballard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Ballard of Natchez, MS and Elizabeth Bramlett (Barry) of Monroe, GA.; his grandchildren, Nicole Taylor (Ryan), Elizabeth Holley (Travis), Shane Kokko (Sierra), Ben Kokko (Katrina) and Jasmine Bass (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Eevee Ryle, Harrison Taylor, Troy Holley, Evelyn Holley, Charlotte Taylor, Logan Kokko and Emory Anne Holley; his sister Judy Bolyer; and his close friend Melanie James.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laird Funeral Home (408 N Union St, Natchez, MS 39120). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Laird Funeral Home Chapel (408 N Union St, Natchez, MS 39120). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Cemetery Cemetery.
