He is survived by: his son Leon Thomas, Sr. (Doris); his sisters, Lorine Jackson and Susie Sims; and his grandchildren, Robert White (Marquita), Leon Thomas, Jr. (Lillian) and Juanita Williams. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
