She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Mayfield and Guy Mayfield; her husband Andrew Nelson; her siblings, Joseph, Fred, Steve, Lawrence Mayfield, Mattie Hayes, Ethel Newman, Laura Lee, Charlotte and Louise Mayfield; her children, Carl Wayne Nelson and Carolyn Mayfield; and her grandson Richard Nelson Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Nelson, Kenneth Nelson of Natchez, Gary Nelson (Eunice) of Dallas, TX, Delores Johnson (Otis) of Natchez, Michelle Mayfield of Natchez and Brenda Mayfield (Tyrone) of Natchez. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
