We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2022, at the age of 95, LaVerne Lewis of Natchez, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Ingram and Bettie Ingram; her husband Joe Hewitt Lewis; and her siblings, Myrtle Clotile Ingram, J. H. Ingram and Dale Ingram.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Miah Kate Aycock of Natchez, MS, Trenton Nettles of Woodville, MS, Parker Nettles (Kali) of Wakefiled, LA, Dylan Nettles of Woodville, MS and Colton Nettles of Baton Rouge, LA.; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer Nettles and Lawson Nettles.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Natchez, MS children's ministry or the music department.
