He is survived by: his wife Shields Godfrey Brown; his son Larry Lynn Brown Jr. (Mattie Smith Brown) of Natchez; his grandchildren, Ansley Elizabeth Brown of Houston, Larry Lynn Brown III of Natchez, William Barrett Brown of Natchez, Caston Coyle Brown of Natchez, Sessions Hite Brown and Shields Hutchinson Brown of Nashville; his niece Kim Smith Clement (Michael Clement) of West Monroe; his nephew William Edward Godfrey IV of Jackson, Mississippi; his siblings-in-law, Laura Breland Godfrey of Natchez, John M. Smith of West Monroe and Rev. Sam Godfrey (Patty) of Vicksburg; and also, Russell Godfrey (Sasha Brown) of Houston Texas, Ralph B. Shields of Vidalia, Juanita Nicholson and Yolanda Allen.
