He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James E. Sanders (Jim) and Dorothy Grace Sanders (Dot); his pet Sylvester; and his brother Benjie Sanders (Lisa) of Natchez.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (106 Morgantown Rd, Natchez, MS 39120).
