Katherine Killelea Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Killelea (Natchez, Mississippi), who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Randall Ferguson and Louise Ferguson; her husband Donald Edward Killelea Sr.; her son Donald Edward Killelea Jr. (Paromita Killelea) of Baton Rouge; and her siblings, Patricia F. Lawless, Randall Ferguson Jr., Charles Ferguson, Fred Ferguson and Paul Ferguson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy (Robert Sizemore) of Natchez, Ginny Killelea of Natchez, Margee (Collins Wohner) of Jackson, Donna Ann (Lewis Bliss) of Sacramento, Calif and Patty (Bill Willard) of Monterey; her grandchildren, Ginny Bliss Hartley (Drew), Katherine Bliss, Carlen Sizemore, Medley Wohner, Catherine Wohner and Sophia Killelea; and her siblings, Mary Ann Mascagni of Natchez and Prentiss "Penny" Ferguson of Mandeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Natchez Children's Christmas Tree Fund in care of the Santa Claus Committee P.O. Box 861 Natchez, MS 39121 or Pleasant Acre Day School, P.O. Box 1362, Natchez, MS 39121.

Susan York wrote a sympathy message

“Miss Katherine was a lovely person. I grew up in Kentucky, but shopped in her wonderful store for years. When I moved to Natchez, she welcomed me and I became a regular on a daily basis. Her husband was my daughters’ pediatrician. I am sad tonight to learn of her death.”
