She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Gibson and Mable Gibson; and her brothers, Willie Hunt and Robert Gibson. She is survived by: her daughter Keisha Butler; her granddaughter KeVonna Wanzer; and her siblings, Aaron Gibson, David Gibson, Ronnie Gibson, Patricia Gibson, Marilyn Foster, Betty Hunt and Patricia Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
