He is survived by: his wife Shelly Blanton Fleming; his sons, James Fleming, Jr. (Shonette), Donnell Fleming (Lekita) and Charles Bates, Jr.; his stepsons, Jeffery Blanton and Larry Blanton; his daughters, Detrice Hayes (Chris), Simone James (Derrick), Keidra Fleming and Charnese Fleming; his stepdaughters, Tomeka Blanton and April Blanton; his sisters, Clara Lewis, Juanita Fleming, Nellie Fleming and Earline White; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Fleming, Renea Gasper and Carolyn Woods. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
