Hugh Smith Harris Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2024, at the age of 89, Hugh Smith Harris (Natchez, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Smith Harris, Sr. and Lila Mae Williams Harris; and his wife Kitty. He is survived by: his son David Harris (Monica Harris); his grandchildren, Madelyn, David and Allie; his daughter Susan Harris (Jeremy Myers); his grandchildren, Benjamin and Elizabeth; his son Michael Harris (Karen Buck); and his grandchild Corinna. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donations in Hugh's memory may be made to the Center for the Arts in Crested Butte, Colorado, Westminster Presbyterian Church in Natchez, Mississippi, or the Harris Breast Center through the Boone Hospital Foundation in Columbia, Missouri.
