He is survived by: his wife Virginia Wood Heard (Tootsie); his children, Roger Hamilton Heard (Lisa) and Ruth Heard Whitley (Robert); his grandchildren, Christopher Dylan Heard (Rebeka), Ashley Claire Whitley (Jessica) and Bryon Whitley (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Robby Whitley and Ginger Whitley; and his siblings, Pete Heard and Mary Tom Aldridge.
