She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Mitchell and Annie Bell Mitchell; her husband Marlin "Slim" Hedglin; her grandson Terry L. Ezell, Jr.; and her siblings, Vonice, Gene, Patsy, Woody and Jerry.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Ezell (Terry) of Savannah, GA and Patty Serafin (John) of Natchez, MS; her grandchildren, Lori Ezell (Brad) of Jacksonville, FL, Marlee Jones (Garrett) of Madison, MS and Layne Ezell (Ashley) of Savannah, GA; her great grandchildren, Tanner, Samuel Ezell, Molly Kate and Maddie Jones of Madison, MS; and her grandchild Slidell. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
