He was predeceased by: his parents, Amy Rebecca Rollins Jackson (Rollins) and Frank Jackson; his granddaughter Gail Coone; his great grandchild Savannah Jackson; and his brother John "Sonny" Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Vicky Jackson (McKinney) of Natchez, MS; his children, David Jackson (Sharon), Nancy Jackson (Rich), Susan Jackson (Rick) and Jeremy Jackson (Ashley) of Natchez, MS; his grandchildren, Ricky, Tanya, Shirley, Paul, Joey, Brandon, Jacoby and Presley; and his brothers, Bobby Jackson and Charles "Chuck" Jackson.
