He is survived by: his daughter Earline Kinnie; his siblings, Albert Dobbins (Lillian), Elbert Lyles, Sr. (Yolanda), Willie Lee Dobbins (Delores), Joseph Lyles (Tina), Melvin Lyles (Patricia), Glenda Lyles and Sue Ann Cain (Luther Sr.); his close friend Rebecca Frye; his grandchildren, Ciera Demby, Carmen Demby and Carlos Demby, Jr.; and his stepson Jason Scott. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
