He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Scott and Jewel Juanita Martin Scott; his son DeWayne Scott, Jr.; and his brothers, Clyde Edward Scott, Tommy Glen Scott, Jimmy Dale Scott, Bobby Joe Scott, Sr. and George Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Emmett Clyde Scott (Leah Scott) and Amanda Thibodeaux (Charlie Thibodeaux); his grandchildren, Tre Scott, Sissy Scott, Elissa Scott, Chase Thibodeaux, Tristen Thibodeaux and Harper Thibodeaux; his daughter-in-law Lynne Nichols Wright Scott; his brother Robert Marvin Scott; and his sister-in-law Mary Tyson Scott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Chapel Hands and Feet Ministry 100 Oakland Drive Natchez, MS 39120 in Mr. Scott's memory.
