He was predeceased by: his brother John Moritz; and his pet Scooter. He is survived by: his wife Judy Womack Moritz of Natchez, MS; his children, Catherine Moritz of Chicago, IL, Susan Houchins (Jason) of Jacksonville, NC and Christopher Moritz (Tong) of Chicago, IL; his stepchildren, Johnny Mathis (Stacey Mathis) of Jackson, MS and Pamela Mathis of New Caney, TX; and his sister Karen Moritz of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his honor.
