He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe and Jessie Morris Foster; his wife Josie Jackson Foster; and his siblings, Eunice Hall, Grady Foster, Audrey Hutson, James Monroe Foster, Jr., Essie Meyers, Elsie Smith, Earl Foster, Paul Foster, Delton Foster and Virginia Faye Sandifer.
He is survived by: his children, Dean Foster of Natchez and Kaye Foster of Clearwater, Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
