He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Morrison Scott and Doris Rae Pyron Scott; his wife Pauline "Polly" Tarver Scott; his sister Martha Ann Scott Parker; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Turner.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Ann Scott Turner of Sardis, MS; and his brother-in-law Daniel Howard Tarver (Alice Magee Tarver) of Natchez, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
