He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Blake "Billy" Wadsworth, Sr. and Lyde Carson Hornsby Wadsworth; his wife Genena Jaquith Wadsworth; his son William Earl Wadsworth; and his sister Evelyn Carson Wadsworth.

He is survived by: his children, Alan Blake Wadsworth (Carolyn) of Church Hill, Genena Lynn Wadsworth of Asheville and Richard Carson Wadsworth (Cindy) of Trophy Club, Texas; his grandchildren, Hayden Blake Wadsworth (Holli) of Natchez, Kate Wadsworth Seales (Clint) of Brandon, Dr. Marlee Wadsworth Smith (Turner) of Flowood, Neville Hayes (Jamie) of Bradenton, Cameron Wadsworth and Carson Wadsworth of Trophy Club, Texas.; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Brock Wadsworth of Natchez, Olivia, Evelyn "Evie" Seales of Brandon and Oliver Hayes of Bradenton.
