He is survived by: his brother James Hansford "Jimmy" Parkes; his children, William Parkes (Lee) of Mobile, AL and Margaret Chapman (Keith) of O'Fallon, IL; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Murrill (Andrew), Blake Parkes (Natalie), Ethan Parkes, Hannah Parkes, Dylan Parkes, Benjamin Chapman, Emma Petitt (Skylar), Mae Chapman and John Chapman.
