She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Lee Haywood and Monroe Elery; her husband Emmett Jefferson; and her son Wardell Jefferson. She is survived by: her children, Emmett Lamont Jefferson (Sharon), Lee Prentiss Jefferson and Linda Baker (Jimmy); her siblings, Thomas Elery, Robert Elery, Kenny Elery (Penelope), Ronnie Elery, Dorothy Burrell (Willie) and Fannie McClay (Tyrone); her grandchildren, Crystal Martin, Emmitra Jefferson, Jakayla Jefferson and Emmeria Jefferson; and her great grandchild Aveyah Jefferson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
