She was predeceased by: her parents, Lurlene Elerby Johnson and Frank Johnson, Sr.; her daughter Efetoya Johnson; and her siblings, Frank Johnson, Jr., Russell Johnson, Sr. and Mary Kinette.
She is survived by: her children, Chokesa Johnson and Makeba Mitchell (Michael); her siblings, Lionel Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Rosie Mae Cameron, Teletha Johnson and Veronica Hunt (Ronnie); and her boyfriend Paul Armstead. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
