She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edward Joy and Emily Matthews Joy; her husband Jerry Ratliff; her brother-in-law Nations; and her niece Beverly N. Gremillion.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Lee Ratliff (Vicky) of Natchez, Jon Eric Ratliff (Melissa) of Pineville and Joyce Mechelle Ratliff Seale (James) of Vidalia; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer Ratliff, Aaron Ratliff (Casey), Jeremy Seale, Kevin Seale, Lauren Ratliff Robinson (Mike) and Joseph Ratliff; her sisters, Elizabeth Nations of Natchez and Anna Mae Burchfield (Allen) of Natchez; and her siblings-in-law, Peggy Ratliff Peavy of Bella Vista, Ark and Ira Ratliff of Jayess, MS.. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
