It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Nell Parker Stewart of Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hicks Parker and Edna Elizabeth Blewett Parker; her husband Van L. Stewart Jr.; and her siblings, Edna Parker Bailey, Carolyn Parker Winters, R. Hicks Parker Jr., Eugene J. Parker, Jack B. Parker and Richard S. Parker.
She is survived by: her children, James A. "Jay" Stewart, Hunter Stewart and Van L. "Butch" Stewart III; her grandchildren, Jamie Hash, Alex Major, Dray Stewart, Alyssa Stewart, Caroline White, Elizabeth McCann, Catherine McPhate, Allie Crnkovic, Emily Stewart and Sarah Grace Stewart; and her faithful basset hound Dudley. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
