It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Lee Carroll of Myrtle, Mississippi, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Lee and Irene Page Carroll; his wife Barbara Holmes Carroll; his daughter Barbara Kay Chism; and his siblings, Betty Prather, Louise Robbins, David and Andrew Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Rebbecca Rogers of Mantachie, Patricia Voyles (Greg) of Moorville, Jonathan Carroll and Brian Carroll (Beverly) of New Albany; and his brothers, Dean Carroll of Pontotoc and Bruce Carroll of Myrtle. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care (608 W Bankhead St, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
