He was predeceased by: his parents, Donzie Lee and Nora Belle Keith Lee; and his siblings, Betty Lee Hoover and Edward E. Lee. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Warren Lee; his children, Melissa Ford (Buster) and Michael Warren Lee (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Mary Catherine "Molly" Ford and William Loercher Lee; and his siblings, Mary Ann Lee Chaney and Jimmy Lee. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
