He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert King (R. C.) and Vernell King; and his grandparents, Jessie, Ida Sullivan, Lawrence and Erie King.
He is survived by: his wife Edwina King; his children, Broadcast Engineer Bobby King (Tess) and Dr. Anna Anderson; his grandchildren, Kate King, Chloe King, Ty White and Slate Anderson; and his siblings, Danny King, Mike King (Tommie), Jane Sullivan (Steve) and Linda King. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
