It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Sullivan Barnes (Mount Olive, Mississippi), who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Sullivan and Helen Sullivan (Tew); her spouse Thomas Barnes (Magee); and her brothers, J. M. Sullivan, George Sullivan, Billy Sullivan and James Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Barnes and Lynn Smith (Guy); her grandsons, Dustin Smith (Hannah), Brandon Smith and Tom Barnes; and also, Mayoung and Kristin McClendon.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials are made to Calvary Baptist Church at 227 Sullivan Road North, Mt. Olive, MS 39119.
