It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Jones Hammerman (Mount Olive, Mississippi), born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, who passed away on December 4, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Jones and Clennie E. Dearing Jones. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Hammerman of Mt. Olive; her daughter Frances Pelletier of Mt. Olive; and her grandchildren, Johnny Hodge, Sheila Robbins, Stephanie Carter, Stacy Gutierrez and James Pelletier. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
