It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florance Lee Keenum of Mount Olive, Mississippi, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Florance Lee may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Frank Cruse and Mable Viola Peterson Cruse; and her brothers, Wayne Cruse and Ramous Cruse. She is survived by: her children, Robin Allen of Mt. Olive and Donald Keenum, Jr. (Laresa) of Ville Platte, LA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:20 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Olive Mt. Olive (211 S Main St, Mt Olive, MS 39119). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2812 Penton St, Gautier, MS 39553).
