He is survived by: his children, Ross Rutland (Becky), Angelia Thoms (John), Jessie Rutland, Ty Rutland and Jeannie Turbyfill; his grandchildren, Myles Rutland, Daniel Thoms, Wyatt Thoms, Lane Loden and Will Matthews; and his brothers, James Clinton Rutland, Richard Rutland (Martha) and Charles David Rutland (Linda). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
