With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Sue Sartin Hardin of Mount Olive, Mississippi, who passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Johnson Sartin and Joseph Lee Sartin; her husband David Lee Hardin Sr.; her daughters, Peggy Hardin and Paula Hardin; and her siblings, Lucille Sartin McQueen, Joseph Lee Sartin, Lois Sartin Johnson, Floyd Sartin, Robert Sartin and Margaret Sartin.
She is survived by: her children, David Lee Hardin, Jr. (Lynda) of Laurel, Donald Wilson Hardin (Linda) of Mount Olive, Susan Dess Hardin Kelly (Jeff) of Mount Olive and Nancy Ann Hardin Ponder (Ricky) of Mount Olive; her siblings, Ken Sartin (Mary Nell) of Mount Olive and Virginia Sartin Lee (Charles Ray) of Mize; her grandchildren, Allison, Angela, Jessica, Lindsey, Barrett, Philip, Lila and Morgan; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Wyatt, Graham, Jase, Will, Jackson, Arthur, John Reed, Josh, Lilly, Jay, Penelope, Edmund, Lennon, Hadlee Sue and Camilla. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
