He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Nell Sinclair Poore; his parents, William Poore and Ella Fair Boone Poore; and his brother-in-law James Laird. He is survived by: his children, Molly Johnson (Paul) of Ovett, MS, Amanda Hope Allred of Laurel, MS, Billy Wayne Shirley (Phyllis Touchstone) of Laurel, MS, Judy Carol Shirley (Kenneth Hopkins) of Laurel, MS, Kay Barry of Laurel, MS and Janet Kiser (Charlie) of Magee, MS; and his sisters, Betty Ann Shelby (Joe Larry) of Moss, MS and Judy Laird of Laurel, MS. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
