He is survived by: his children, Sonya Elisha Nettles-Gilmore and Bryson Christopher Brown; his stepdaughter Margaret Roberts; his grandchildren, Brianna Nadaja Jones, Samiya Nicole Nettles, Kaiden Elijah Martin, Skyler Roberts, Logan Roberts and Jaxton Thompson; his great grandchild Jaxten Chase Brown; and his siblings, Cary Brown (Ann), Carter Brown (Consuella), Aaron Brown (Doris), Freddie McElroy (Rudolph), LaLouise Parker, Penny McMillan, Rennell "Cathy" Brown and Phyllis Poindexter. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
