We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2024, at the age of 76, Ruby Finklea of Moss Point, Mississippi, born in Pascagoula, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pelmar Ducksworth and Carleatha Ducksworth; and her siblings, Nettie Ruth Lett (Willie), Willie Mae Ballard (Walter), Billy Ray Ducksworth, Estella Williamson (Johnnie), Jerry Ducksworth, Keith Ducksworth (Teresa) and Joe Ducksworth.
She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Finklea, Sr.; her children, Karl Finklea (Sybil) of Jacksonville, FL, Gerard Finklea (Deborah) of Ocean Springs, MS, Reginald Finklea of Moss Point, MS, Kimblea Finklea of Hampton, GA and Charles E. Finklea, Jr. of Katy, TX.; her sisters, Annie Doris Collier (James) and Charlotte Perryman (Willie); and her siblings-in-law, Mattie Bell Tait, Joanne Sims, Barbara Ann Richardson, Carolyn Bedford (Willie), Ann Finklea and Danny Ray Finklea. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
