He was predeceased by: his son Logan Eckert; and his grandparents, Jack, Emma Lou Brown and Edgar Eckert. He is survived by: his wife Adela Gaytan; his parents, Ronnie Eckert and Jackie Eckert; his grandmother Anna Richardson; his siblings, Scott Eckert (Melinda) and Melissa Garriga (Matt); his son Tyler Eckert (Destin Holloway); his niece Jordan Eckert; and his nephews, Jackson and Sam Garriga. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Due to the concerns of Covid-19, the family is requesting masks to be worn.
