He is survived by: his wife Sandra Emmons; his children, Julie Cox (Greg), Sam Emmons (Michelle), Brandie Green (Wade) and Kathy Shoemaker (Ray); the mother of his children Jo Ella Nelson; his grandchildren, Matthew Cox (Kelsey), Jillian Etheridge (Nick), Meredith Westmoreland (Daniel), Olivia Etheridge (Markus), Noah Shoemaker, Chandler Green (Erin), Braden Green (Olivia) and Grace Shoemaker; his great grandchildren, Makenah Cox, Ember Little, Maisie Cox, Hazel Little, Lydia Hellard, Nash Hayman and Marnie Westmoreland; his siblings, Jane Byrd, Anne Lou Emmons and Jim Emmons; and his pet Termite.
