He was predeceased by: his parents, George Samuel Cooper, Sr. and Nellie Rochelle Matthews Cooper; his wife Rebecca Jane Cooper; and his siblings, Mary Lacey, Voncille Harrelson and Junior Cooper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Taylor (Ricky), Cindy McLeod (Bruce) and Karen Ehlers (Keith); and his grandchildren, Dustin McLeod, Lauren Bullock, Nicole McGallagher, Drew Taylor, Chase Ehlers, Brooke Tillman and Scott Garrard. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and very special neighbor, friend.
