He was predeceased by: his siblings, Audra Nell "Tatsie" Taylor and Mark A. "Duke" Stokes, Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, Norman Alfred Stokes, Sr. and Edith Voncile Ford Stokes; his children, Morgan Stokes and Trevor Stokes; and his siblings, Jack Stokes (Darlene) and Lisa Thomas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will have a private service.
