He is survived by: his wife Zella Peters; his children, Natwassie Truly (William) of Canton, MS, Barbara Harris McCoy (Gene) of Gautier, MS, Melonda Mason of Moss Point, MS and Demone Jenkins (Amie) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Kenya, Erica, Sonya, Rashawn (April), Landy, Della, Mariah, Milton Jevon, Geryd, Rickey, Carlisha, Tyler and Alexis (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Taylor, Sky, Draya, Phoenix, Hunter and Chance; and his son Rickey Owens.
Brother Peters donated to the Daily Bread and would join his friends for lunch at the daily bread.
