It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Opal Barnes of Moss Point, Mississippi, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Lillie Mae Cummings (Speed); her siblings, James, Olin, Richard, Ben, Marlin, Herman, Ronnie and Norma; and her sons, Thomas Wesley Goff and James Patrick Goff.
She is survived by: her siblings, Linda, Mary and Jerry; her children, John Stuart Goff (Terry) of Mobile, David C. Goff (Janice) of Tuscaloosa and Margaret Ann Martin (Carlton) of Moss Point; and her grandchildren, Bridget, Joshua, Maryanna, Ingrid, Brent, Lindsey Morgan, Tommy, Machelle, Matthew and Daniel. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
