She was predeceased by: her sons, Wendell, Dwayne, Andy and Tony Higginbotham; and her parents, Laura Ezell Manning and Carl Blain Manning.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Higginbotham of Lucedale; and her sisters, Linda Campin (Ronnie) and Martha Brewer (Gordon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
