It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucye Bernice Stauter of Moss Point, Mississippi, born in Noble, Louisiana, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Martin and Mirza Beulah Martin; her husband Richard E. "Gene" Stauter; and her siblings, Leota Martin Robertson, John D. Martin and Robert W. Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Richard E. "Rick" Stauter, Jr. (Margaret Hill Stauter) and Linda Anne White; her grandchildren, Edmond White (Melanie White), Emily White Wood (Jason Wood), Richard Lee Stauter (Amanda Stauter), Troy Eugene Stauter (Stephanie Stauter) and Marlena Lynn McLaurin (Michael McLaurin); her great grandchildren, William White, Norah Wood, Caley Stauter, Adeline Stauter, Micah Stauter, Charley Stauter, Andrew Stauter, Joshua Stauter, Daniel Stauter, Ryan McLaurin and Carter McLaurin; and her brother James A. Martin (Alice Martin). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and their children.
Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, a face mask is encouraged while attending the service.
