He is survived by: his wife Julie Nelson; his children, Hannah "First Mate" Lusby (Robert) and Hayley "Boomboom" Nelson; his grandchildren, Bryson "Bean" and Addison "Sprout"; and his siblings, Jefferey Nelson, Linda Whitmore (Mike), Paulette LaCap, Dwight Nelson (Bobby), Gregory Nelson (Barbara), Todd Nelson, Kevin Nelson and Cody Nelson.
