She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver J. Bass and Barbara J. Bass; and her sister Candis Bass. She is survived by: her children, Edward Bass (Shawndra Bass) of Glen Burnie, MD and Jessika-Monique Bass of Huntsville, AL; her pets, Lokie Leo, Honey Willow and Rocket; her siblings, Patricia Smith, Judy Smith of Pascagoula, MS, Sarah Horne, Sr. (Roy) of Gautier, MS, Keith Smith of Gautier, MS, Oliver J. Bass, Jr. of Raleigh, NC and Rafael Bass of Pascagoula, MS; and her friends, Phyllis Smith, Bernadine Smith, David Rogers and Valeria McConnell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Due to Covid, she worshipped virtually until her passing.
