He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ollie, Doris Vice of Helena, MS, Larry Hunnings of Moss Point, MS and Louise Willis Hunnings of Beaufort, NC; and his father-in-law Carl Green of Wade, MS..

He is survived by: his wife Darla Kay Green Vice; his children, Joseph Mason-Daniels Vice of Ocean Springs, MS, Victoria Lesley Vice of Ocean Springs, MS and Jillian Sage Vice of Ocean Springs, MS; his parents, John Vice and Callie Vice of Helena, MS; his siblings, Paula Vice Hansen (David) of Birmingham, AL, Donnette Vice Dickson (Phil) of Ashdown, AR and Matthew "Matt" Vice of Helena, MS; his mother-in-law Dorothy Green of Wade, MS; and his friend Tootie Courtney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, a face mask is required to attend the services.

“Dr. Vice has been my Doctor for 17 years, I was in disbelief when I heard the news cause I just saw him that Tuesday and told him how great he looked, we played a joke on my 17 year old daughter that had her crying until we told her it was a joke. that was his sense of humor. Dr. Vice delivered 3 of my baby's and I have stories with each one of them. My deepest condolences to his wife and kids. He was a respected man I loved him dearly I'll pray for strengthen for everyone. He will be missed.”
