He was predeceased by: his mother Callie Hatfield; his brother Fred "Pop" Frison; his daughter Ethel Leverson Dees; his grandson Tremayne Leverson; and his son Al Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Essie Wells Leverson; his children, Mary Hunter (John), Jacquelyn Leverson, Patricia Leverson Colvin, Angetta Bogan (Gary) and Maurice Parker; and his grandchildren, Tina Williams-Jones, Loretta Hunter (Marcus), Archie Williams and Tilfold Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, extended family and friends.
